Teaching is an act of compassion.
It does not mean you are smarter, stronger, better than anyone else,
it means that you are willing to hold out your hand in support of others
who share this bumpy road we call life.
We are all teachers all the time,
whether we do it consciously or not.
We are constantly being observed by others,
constantly having an effect on anyone who sees or doesn’t see us,
who hears us or doesn’t hear us.
You cannot be dead or alive without leaving an impression.
Be conscientious in all that you do
so that your teaching,
whether you are aware that you are a teacher or not,
can make this a better world for us to share
here, now, and in the future.
